doctor

The fourth Doctor - complete with scarf - confronts a Cyberman.

Doctor Who?

Scott: I might not be able to draw that, but let’s try it out.

What is Doctor Who?

Scott: A TV programme or more or less a DVD programme to be more precise. Or something that’s on now. Series 11, that’s on now, and episode… What episode?

Helen: Episode one. Or six.

Scott: Series 11, episode…

Helen: Six.

Scott: Series 11, Helen. Which episode in series 11?

I don’t know, and I don’t think it’s series 11. Who is the Doctor?

Scott: Eh… When did anyone see the Doctor?

Helen: That Doctor. What do you mean Doctor Who?

Scott: (impersonating theme tune) Oooo eeee oooo…

Helen: What do you mean Doctor. Who?

Who is the Doctor?

Scott: Doctor Who?

What is he?

Scott: A timelord, isn’t that the most obvious thing?

And what does he do?

Scott: (pause) Travels in time is the best way I could say it.

Backwards and forwards?

Scott: Well… yes.

Does he meet any aliens?

Scott: Well… Yes. There are aliens. Animals, goodies, baddies…

Who’s your favourite alien?

Scott: Cybermen are pretty good. (To Helen) I’m guessing he’s going to say: “Why?”

Who’s your favourite Doctor?

Helen: Doctor One.

Scott: The fifth one, because he wears celery on his jacket.

Helen: I like the same one as Scott.

Scott: Why?

Helen: Because he has celery on his jacket.

Scott: Or the fourth Doctor, because he has curly hair and a scarf.
